V Three Studios is thrilled to be a part of Logboat Brewing's expansion project, which transforms their previous facility into a larger, state-of-the-art brewery and taproom. The project aims to expand the brewery's production capacity, enhance the guest experience, and create a more efficient and sustainable brewing process.
The expansion features a 12,000 square foot addition to the existing brewing facility, a 2,000 square foot addition to the existing tasting room, 4,000 square feet of new covered patio, and fully renovated tasting rooms.
The brewery expansion includes a fermentation cellar, canning line, warehouse, restrooms, lab, and offices. The new cellar will have 125-barrel uni fermentation tanks, 120 barrel lagering and brite beer tanks, as well as enhanced kegging and packaging equipment which will eventually increase production capacity to over 20,000 barrels annually.
The renovated taproom and new entrance will also be a highlight of the expansion, with a new glass stair tower, elevator, new second floor bar, and a covered 2-story outdoor patio overlooking downtown Columbia.
On the patio, guests will be able to enjoy drinks served from the shipping container bar, featuring Logboat's award-winning beers and a rotating selection of seasonal and experimental brews.
Logboat has partnered with V Three Studios to design and oversee the construction of the new expansion. The team at V Three Studios has extensive experience designing breweries and taprooms and is working closely with Logboat to ensure the new facility exceeds their expectations.
The expansion project began in the Spring of 2021, with expected completion in the fall of 2023. Logboat Brewing is excited for this new chapter and looks forward to welcoming beer enthusiasts from near and far to their new and improved facility.
