Saint Louis Art Museum | Ancient Americas Gallery

St. Louis, Missouri

The St. Louis Art Museum (SLAM) during the recent expansion project also renovated galleries throughout the existing Cass Gilbert building. Included in this renovation was a 3,970 SF of space for the Ancient Americans Gallery, which contains artifacts that descend from various regions of North, Central, and South America. These beautiful and vast group of artifacts include Mayan, Aztec, and Mississippian pieces that have never been on displayed together in one cohesive story-telling exhibit. V Three Studios was brought in to assist SLAM’s design and curator teams with space planning, object placement packages, 3d schematic casework design and detailing, as well as construction documentation.
